Environmental and Climate Monitoring
This axis is dedicated to the development of advanced methodologies for Earth observation and environmental monitoring, utilizing data from satellites, onboard sensors, aerial platforms, and ground-based networks.

Activities include oceanic, hydrological, and atmospheric monitoring, as well as the analysis of extreme events, climate change, precision agriculture, and early warning systems. AI techniques and big data analysis are employed to support decision-making. Challenges involve the integration of heterogeneous data, real-time forecasting, and the development of interpretable and robust models.
