This area focuses on the development of intelligent systems for electromagnetic surveillance, communications security, and critical infrastructure protection.


Research areas include signal detection and classification, electronic warfare, anomaly analysis, physical and cyber security, and resilient systems. Advanced adaptive processing and machine learning techniques are explored. Challenges include robustness against interference, operation in hostile environments, and the reliability of critical systems.
